Derek Goodson - Managing Partner CFO -

Mr. Goodson has been involved in the lodging, hospitality and resort industry for over twenty years. At Topnotch at Stowe, a four star, luxury resort in Stowe, Vermont, he worked in virtually all aspects of operations. Between 1980 and 1988, Mr. Goodson worked as bellman, front desk and reservations agent, and held positions as Night Auditor, Staff Accountant, Computer Analyst, Guest Services Manager, Assistant Controller and Controller. From 1988 to 1991, Mr. Goodson worked with Springer-Miller Systems, a leading software developer for hotel front desk/reservations and property management systems. As a Marketing Representative and Regional Sales Manager, Mr. Goodson helped to market, design and implement computerized property management systems in hotels and resorts throughout North America. In 1991, Mr. Goodson became the Controller at Whitetail Resort in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, the last major ski resort to open in North America. At Whitetail, Mr. Goodson oversaw all financial, accounting, ticketing and food service operations. As a member of a four-person senior management team he was involved in all major operating and strategic decisions. He also held positions as corporate Assistant Secretary and Treasurer, and as Vice-President and Treasurer of Whitetail Realty Marketing, Inc., the real estate sales division of the resort. In 1997, Mr. Goodson became Chief Financial Officer of Spring Creek Resort. His primary focus has been bank relations, financing, insurance, cash management, general administration, real estate development, and system analysis and design. In 2002, with his partner, Stephen Price, Mr. Goodson formed Spring Creek Ranch Management Company LLC and purchased the Spring Creek Ranch business.

Mr. Goodson, originally from Montreal, Quebec, graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours B.A. in Economics and Political Science in 1982. In 1987, he received his M.B.A. from the University of Vermont. Mr. Goodson is also a licensed Realtor and Broker Spring Creek Ranch Realty. He and his wife Sandra have married for tewnty-one years, and live in Jackson, Wyoming.
